Zachary Rich
Zac Rich currently serves as the Executive Director of GreenLight Fund Boston. A life-long criminal justice reform advocate, he began his Boston-area career in 2011 as a youth worker at Roca Chelsea, working directly with systems-involved young men and women in and around Chelsea, East Boston, and Roxbury.
Zac also brings 10 years of experience in the public sector, having served as the Director of Justice-Based Initiatives at Commonwealth Corporation, a quasi-state agency working on behalf of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
Zac most recently served as the Chief of Program & Evaluation at The New Commonwealth Fund, where he developed and implemented a multi-year, phased grantmaking strategy predicated on respect-based investment in Black and Brown-led nonprofits across Massachusetts. Zac currently sits on the Northeastern University Center on Crime, Race, and Justice Community Advisory Board, The Fountain Fund Boston Advisory Board, and the Youth Guidance Boston Advisory Board.
